Allyson N. Brupbacher is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from University of Houston law school in May 1997 and has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since November 1997. She opened up her law practice the same month and has been a solo-practioner ever since. She is board certified in family law and she has tailored her practice to only represent children in custody and CPS cases. She also serves as a mediator for family law cases and mediates 2-3 times each week. She has been very active in the HBA as a director for the family law section and a chair person for the Speaker’s Bureau and Lawyers in Public School Program. She is also a past president for Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists. She also is very active in child-focused organizations. She was a board member and volunteer for Children’s Friend in Court—an organization that provides volunteer ad litems and amicus attorneys for all the family law courts until its closure in 2005. She has been a volunteer at Texas Children Hospital for over 8 years and was the vice-president for the TCH Auxillary Board. She has been married to her high school sweetheart Jason for 19 years and has 7 year old boy-girl twins and a 5 year old little girl.
